Strategy and Analysis Senior Associate (Business Intelligence)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL to provide actionable insights that support business strategies.
2. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.
3. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
4. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of business intelligence reports.
5. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support the development and execution of business strategies.
6. Collaborate with senior management to identify and analyze key business opportunities and challenges.
7. Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
8. Implement best practices in data management and analysis to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business intelligence efforts.
9. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
10. Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure data-driven decision-making.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analysis.
12. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can enhance the company’s business intelligence capabilities.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CBIP, SQL certifications) are a plus.
3. 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or strategy analysis.
4. Proven experience in working with large datasets and complex queries.
5. Mastery in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, optimize database performance, and work with relational databases.
6. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
7. Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
8. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
9. Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, data modeling, and analytics.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
11. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable business insights.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Ability to present data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
