Job Summary:

The Senior Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth. This role involves managing staff, optimizing sales performance, maintaining store standards, and implementing business strategies to enhance profitability. The Senior Shop Manager serves as a leader, mentor, and decision-maker, ensuring smooth and efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  3. Lead, motivate, and manage store staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  5. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and manage merchandising to maximize sales.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  7. Conduct regular store audits, assess performance metrics, and implement corrective measures.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  9. Manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to optimize store profitability.
  10. Drive marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community engagement efforts.
  11. Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and enhances the customer experience.
  12. Utilize data analytics to track sales trends and make informed business decisions.
  13. Address operational challenges and implement process improvements.
  14. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of retail management experience, preferably in a senior role.
  3. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  5. Proven ability to drive sales, manage budgets, and improve store performance.
  6. Proficiency in retail management software and inventory control systems.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and sales data.
  9. Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities.
  10. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
