About the role

We are seeking a talented Statistician to join our team at PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper in Riau. As a Statistician, you will play a key role in supporting our data-driven decision making and helping to drive strategic initiatives across the organisation. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and growth.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets
• Designing and implementing statistical models to forecast trends and identify patterns
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions
• Communicating statistical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
• Staying up-to-date with the latest statistical methodologies and tools
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our data management and analytics capabilities

What we're looking for

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a statistical or data analysis role
• Strong proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SQL)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field of statistics and data science
