Description and Requirements
Responsible for overseeing the assembly and production processes of cellphone circuit boards using SMT equipment. This includes ensuring quality control, troubleshooting, and optimizing production efficiency to meet the company's performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive SMT lines setup, including stencils, printers, and reflow ovens.
- Interface between global SMT engineer team and factory SMT team.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with SMT equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Optimize production flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Technical Degree in (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field).
- 5+ years of experience in SMT processes, preferably in the electronics or cellphone manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of SMT machine programming and setup.
- Familiarity with PCB design and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with NPI projects and familiarity with quality control methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
