About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SSL (Land Acquisition) Supervisor to join our team at PT Everde Global Mineral in North Morowali, Central Sulawesi. This full-time position is a crucial part of our Mining operations, with a focus on the management of our land acquisition activities.

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee and coordinate the land acquisition process, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Negotiate with landowners to secure land access and rights, while maintaining positive relationships.
3. Manage a team of land agents and support staff, providing guidance and ensuring efficient operations.
4. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all land-related activities and transactions.
5. Collaborate with various internal departments to align land acquisition efforts with the company's strategic objectives.
6. Identify and mitigate potential risks or challenges in the land acquisition process.
7. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and community leaders.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in land acquisition or related field within the mining, resources, or energy industry.
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
3. Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and deadlines.
4. Thorough understanding of land-related laws, regulations, and best practices in the industry.
5. Ability to lead and motivate a team, with proven experience in managing and developing personnel.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and adept at using relevant land acquisition software and tools.
7. Willingness to work in a remote location and adapt to the challenges of the local environment.
