We are a dynamic media company looking for a highly experienced and driven General Manager to lead our operations in Indonesia. With a focus on expanding our market presence and driving productivity, this role is critical to maintaining our high standards and fostering continued growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the media industry, with expertise in business operations, human resources, finance, and communications. We are looking for a strong leader and expert communicator who can manage multiple departments and ensure excellence in all aspects of the business.
- Design and implement relevant digital strategies to drive the growth of the sports media platform.
- Identify the latest digital trends and innovative opportunities to expand audience reach and engagement with content.
- Develop both short- and long-term plans for the success of the digital platform, ensuring the achievement of predefined KPIs.
Content Management
- Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality sports content across various digital platforms (website, apps, social media, etc.).
- Coordinate with creative and production teams to ensure the content aligns with company standards and appeals to the target audience.
Collaboration with Technical Teams
- Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure optimal user experience on digital platforms.
- Ensure the integration of advanced technologies such as live streaming, real-time statistics, and interactive features for users.
Operational Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the digital media division, including content scheduling, data analysis, and performance reporting.
- Build and lead the digital team, providing guidance and support to ensure business targets are met.
- Develop effective monetization strategies, including digital advertising, sponsorship, premium subscriptions, and e-commerce.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with brands and sports organizations to boost revenue.
Data Analytics and Decision-Making
- Analyze content performance, traffic, engagement, and other metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Adjust content and marketing strategies based on insights from data analysis to improve overall platform performance.
External Relations and Branding
- Enhance the company's image in the digital sports industry through public relations, influencer partnerships, and social media initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with external parties such as sports federations, sponsors, and media outlets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital media, particularly in the sports industry.
- Deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in digital media, including SEO, SEM, analytics, and digital marketing.
- Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- High analytical capability, with experience using data to make strategic decisions.
- Extensive network within the sports industry and experience building partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
