Solution Design Transport - Executive

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university and an engineering background.
• At least 3 years of working experience in Warehouse/Transport Solution Design or a relevant role (Logistics Analyst, Transport Planner, or Process improvement).
• Understanding of Solution Design tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Numerical and analytic skills are mandatory for this role.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and developing customer solutions.
• Advanced modeling/costing techniques and high analytical skill.
• Highly motivated, team player, and able to work cooperatively with all levels of employees.
• Good communication in English is a must.
• Strong leadership, high initiative, and high aptitude.
• Strong experience working in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
• Good presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

• Supporting and working under assignment proposals for prospects and clients; working in partnership with the Sales team, Commercial/Account Management team, and key business stakeholders.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing customers for new scope of activity and retention/renewal projects - providing both project leadership and solutions design support, and occasionally new business projects.
• Providing support to the sales team and management through the business solution strategies in developing commercially and operationally.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse modeling, Supply Chain solutions, and consulting.
• Create Customer Proposals and Presentations in response to corporate customer requirements and proposals on bidding/tender.
• High levels of interaction with the customer in conjunction with the sales and operational lead to position the ongoing solution development into a commercially attractive and winning proposition.
• Develop an engagement strategy with the operations teams to target the key stakeholders in Customer organizations who have responsibility for renewals and new logistics business opportunities and to create a pipeline of development activity.
• Modeling to convert business metrics into warehouse and transport solutions, including network design, channel selection, routing and scheduling, warehouse layout/sizing, and productivity/labor planning.
