Software Test Engineer

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio with Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing across web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, and Bamboo.
• Work closely with the development team to implement and promote BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles.
• Utilize SQL Server to perform database testing and data validation.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter and analyze performance metrics.
• Monitor test results and performance metrics using Grafana and k6.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and test environment management.
• Document test cases, test plans, and test results using Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field from a reputable university.
• More than 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or similar position.
• Experience in the testing of financial products and applications would be advantageous.
• Proven experience in creating automated test scripts using Java and Katalon Studio with Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and principles.
• Experience in testing web, mobile, and API applications.
• Proficiency in SQL Server for database testing.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, and Bamboo.
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles.
• Experience with test management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of test monitoring tools like Grafana and k6.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willing to work full-time onsite at Jakarta (WFO).
