Software QA Engineer (Based In Malaysia)

As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining software quality associated with the product development and releases. You will assess software quality through manual/automated testing and finding and reporting bugs. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills. Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the product owner to understand requirements to define the scope of testing.
• Design, develop and maintain test cases/test scripts.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to the development team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development cycle.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant major.
• Min of 3-4 years hand-on experience in Software Testing.
• Experience in both Manual and Automation testing.
• Understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium Webdriver/ Testproject or relevant tools.
• Working knowledge of test management software (ex.Jira/Bugzilla) and SQL.
• Ability to take proactive actions and have a positive attitude.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
