Software Engineer - IoT

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software solutions for IoT devices within manufacturing environments.
• Design system architectures that enable data acquisition, processing, and transmission from industrial devices to cloud or on-premise platforms.
• Integrate sensor and machine data into MES, ERP, and analytics systems.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and operational stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.
• Write and maintain code, APIs, and technical documentation for custom IoT applications.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of IoT device connectivity and data communication.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum squads to deliver iterative and collaborative development.
• Provide technical support during implementation and post-production phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software development, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or C/C++ for IoT development.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus) and API integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and edge computing architectures.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs, or industrial sensors is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams using tools like Git, Jira, or Jenkins.
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site and full time at Bintaro.
