Join Geobotica on the ground in Bali
We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our growing team based in beautiful Bali, Indonesia. You’ll be working on-site with our local and Australian engineering teams to develop GeoPoint, our proprietary 3D geospatial platform used for advanced ground monitoring and analysis.
About GeoPoint:
GeoPoint brings together data from our cutting-edge radar and lidar systems to allow geotechnical engineers to monitor ground movement in real time. With powerful 3D visualisations and analytical tools, it’s helping to keep people safe and make mining smarter.
What You'll Be Working On
- Building high-performance software in C and C++
- Implementing and optimising 3D visualisation tools (OpenGL, IMGui)
- Collaborating across teams to develop user interfaces and real-time data tools
- Supporting the integration of radar and lidar data into GeoPoint
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Occasionally scripting in Python (bonus, not essential)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in C and C++
- Working knowledge of Python is a bonus
- Prior exposure to 3D graphics, OpenGL, or IMGui is highly desirable
- Excellent spoken and written English – you’ll be working closely with both Indonesian and Australian teams
- A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and willingness to get hands-on with hardware from time to time
Location & Logistics
- This is a full-time, on-site role in Bali
- Candidates must be willing to relocate – support provided
- You’ll be based in our Bali office, working with on-site teammates and the Australian Geobotica Team
