Software Development Engineer in Test

Job Description:

1. Build and maintain test tools/frameworks that we use.
2. Review system design and technical implementation, ensuring its “Testability” and “Readability”.
3. Work closely with engineers and the product team to create an awesome solution.
4. Identify flaws in system implementation, including UX, functionality, reliability, and security.

Requirements:

1. Understands and has full knowledge of the development and testing lifecycle.
2. Understands and implements code to script test automation scenarios for both UI/API using any of the modern programming languages like Node.js, etc.
3. Has experience and can use open source tools (at least one) for test automation, code repo management [git, github], build and deploy tools like Jenkins, etc.
4. Has experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks using open source tools, e.g., Playwright, WDIO, Cucumber, Appium, etc.
5. Has knowledge of databases and cloud infrastructure and can design and set up a framework under senior’s guidance.
6. Should be able to mentor junior engineers.
