Software Architect (Based in Malaysia)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of cutting-edge SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in C#.Net, Node.js, Flutter mobile app development, MySQL, MSSQL, microservices architecture, and AWS Cloud services. This role demands a visionary professional capable of architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems while collaborating across teams to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure SaaS solutions using a microservices architecture.
• Develop a cohesive architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Lead architectural reviews, code audits, and ensure technical excellence.
• Collaborate on integrating Flutter mobile apps with backend services built on C#.Net and Node.js.
• Ensure seamless interoperability across mobile, web, and backend platforms.
• Database and Cloud Infrastructure
  • Design and optimize database solutions with MySQL and MariaDB.
  • Leverage AWS Cloud Services for scalable infrastructure, security, and performance enhancements.
• Microservices Implementation
  • Define, build, and implement a microservices-based architecture to support dynamic scaling and rapid feature delivery.
  • Design efficient APIs and event-driven architectures to facilitate service communication.
• Performance and Security
  • Ensure systems meet high performance, scalability, and reliability standards.
  • Implement robust security measures, including secure APIs, data encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• Collaboration and Documentation
  • Work closely with product managers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Prepare detailed architectural documents, diagrams, and technical specifications.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in C#.Net and Node.js for backend services.
• Experience with Flutter for developing cross-platform mobile applications.
• Strong expertise in database design and management with MySQL and MSSQL.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway).

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of front-end integration with technologies like React or Angular is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to lead in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Other Qualifications:

• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with serverless computing models.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
