We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our team and help promote the mission and values of Darsyafii school on social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management, content creation, and public speaking, with a passion for engaging with both our school community and the broader public. You will play a key role in creating a positive online presence that reflects the values and educational philosophy of our school.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation & Management:
   • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the school’s mission and values, ensuring content resonates with students, parents, faculty, and the community.
   • Create, curate, and schedule daily posts across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) including photos, videos, articles, and event promotions.
   • Highlight school events, achievements, student success stories, and other relevant news while maintaining the principles of respect, integrity, and community.
2. Public Speaking & Video Engagement:
   • Host live streams, virtual events, and video content, such as interviews with teachers, students, and school leaders, or live coverage of school events.
   • Represent the school at online events, speaking with clarity, confidence, and in line with the school’s values.
   • Create video content promoting the school’s educational programs, activities, and values.
3. Community Engagement:
   • Respond promptly to questions, comments, and messages from the school’s online community (parents, students, alumni).
   • Foster engagement by creating and moderating online discussions, and building relationships with followers to maintain a positive online presence.
   • Coordinate with teachers and staff to ensure that school announcements and important messages are effectively communicated to the broader community.
4. Analytics & Reporting:
   • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, and use data to optimize strategies and content.
   • Provide regular reports to school leadership on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and growth.
5. Collaboration with School Staff:
   • Work closely with the marketing, admissions, and events teams to promote school programs, open houses, and other initiatives.
   • Ensure that the school’s social media presence is aligned with its branding and messaging across all communications.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably within educational or community-based organizations.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on engaging, respectful, and positive interactions online.
• Experience in public speaking, video creation, or live streaming.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Basic understanding of values, teachings, and community-oriented principles that align with the school.
• Strong creative writing, editing, and copywriting skills for creating engaging posts.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite) is a plus.
• A passion for education and supporting the development of the school environment.
