SMB Business Analyst

About the Role

As our SMB Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and operational excellence for long-tail unmanaged merchants within the GoFood ecosystem. This position focuses on leveraging data insights to identify opportunities, address challenges, and optimize strategies tailored for the newly onboarded small and medium size GoFood merchants.

What you will do

• Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges specific to unmanaged GoFood merchants.
• Develop insights on unmanaged merchants' performance across Indonesia, from newly onboarded merchants to mature merchants.
• Monitor key metrics such as GMV, CO, MTU, Promotion, and Ads program. This will include motion monitoring from activation to retention.
• Create and build a performance dashboard for the region team to monitor the performance of unmanaged merchants nationwide.
• Work closely with sales planning and analyst team to better translate high-level numbers target into breakdown target per segment in Unmanaged merchants.
• Identify inefficiencies in merchant onboarding, engagement, and operational processes using data insights.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field managing local/regional business in reputable companies.
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the e-commerce, food delivery, or retail sector. At least 3 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in data mining and visualization tools like SQL, Google Big Query, Tableau, and Metabase.
• Have the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience working in sales or business development is a plus.
