Site Coordinator

About the role

As a Site Coordinator at GSW INTERIOR SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of architectural projects. Responsible for overseeing on-site operations, you will be the link between the design team and the construction process, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards. This full-time position is based in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and monitoring all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Serving as the primary point of contact between the design team, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Reviewing and interpreting architectural plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate implementation on-site
• Identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction process
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of project progress, including site inspections and progress reports
• Collaborating with the design team to resolve any design-related challenges that emerge on-site
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar site coordinator or project management role within the architecture/design industry
• Excellent understanding of architectural plans, specifications, and construction processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
• Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Familiarity with construction software and digital tools
