In this role, you will be responsible for all material related quality topics, drive suppliers through development program to achieve zero defect goals, supplier continuous improvement/project/assessment and be accountable for internal customer satisfaction indices related to material quality.
In your new role, you will:
• Drive supplier for 8D focusing on preventive actions for Technical and Detection escape root cause. And ensure sufficient good quality material is available to avoid line down at IFX Operations.
• Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure package family or products have standardized controls, and visual and dimensional criteria so that 1 quality is supplied from different suppliers, for the same commodity.
• Co-ordinate with BE SQM colleagues to ensure standardized control and support other BE sites related to GK material quality topics.
• Ensure IQC checks and suppliers' checks (per respective Control plan) are implemented consistently and accurately.
• Team up with QM operations team to ensure fail criteria and operations / Process requirements (including customer requirements) are up to date.
• Collaborate with suppliers to embark on Specific quality projects that support IFX Zero Defect goals.
• Support Segments and TS SIN Site when there are audits scheduled for Incoming check processes related to the product or business unit in focus.
• Support Procurement and other stakeholders related to quality topics on purchasing specification parts A and C.
• Ensure purchasing specification part B is available and up to date for Test Interface Material.
• Support/involve with Development for new project with supplier at the early stage.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
• Degree holder in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Applied Science with a Physics/Chemistry/Material Science major.
• Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor quality or engineering working experience.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills, able to work in diverse, cross-country teams.
• Semiconductor backend or automotive industry experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and driving skills.
• Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Good English both oral and written.
• Team player with good moderation skills as well as experience interacting with internal teams and suppliers.
• VDA 6.3 / IATF lead auditor certified.
