Senior Software Project Manager

FinanSys are a 25+ year established company selling, implementing and supporting SunSystems accounting software, Oracle NetSuite ERP, SaaS based Business Process Management application, and have launched an exciting and unique new SaaS based software (UniFi) for the finance and accounting function of all businesses (www.finansys.com)

About This Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of our UniFi Platform. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work closely with a cross-functional team of Developers, QA Engineers and DevOps to coordinate workstreams, manage priorities, and ensure timely and stable releases. This is a senior role suited to someone who thrives in fast paced environments, understands the complexities of SaaS product delivery, and is comfortable bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams. You’ll be a key part of creating structure, improving delivery velocity, and helping scale our operations as the business grows. This role is remote and ideal for someone with strong technical understanding, hands-on delivery management skills, and a passion for driving clarity and collaboration. The candidate will have Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

1. Own and manage project workflows and delivery tracking in Azure DevOps across multiple internal product streams.
2. Coordinate day-to-day delivery across development, QA, DevOps, technical writing, and security teams.
3. Facilitate standups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and cross-functional syncs to ensure progress and alignment.
4. Translate high-level product priorities into actionable work plans and timelines.
5. Identify, manage, and communicate risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively.
6. Drive continuous improvement in team processes, delivery velocity, and release quality.
7. Act as the main point of contact for project delivery across internal teams and departments.
8. Maintain visibility and transparency on progress with clear reporting to stakeholders, including the Operations Director.
9. Help shape delivery best practices for a Kanban environment within a scaling SaaS company.
10. Foster a culture of accountability, clarity, and cross-team collaboration.

Required Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager in a SaaS product development environment.
2. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Kanban, and practical experience applying them.
3. Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, including CI/CD.
4. Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
6. Excellent stakeholder management and cross functional coordination abilities.
7. Proactive risk identification and problem-solving mindset.
8. Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams across different functions.
9. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Nice to Have Skills:

1. Familiarity with release planning, test automation, and QA best practices.
2. Exposure to security, compliance, or technical writing as part of delivery.
3. Experience in fast scaling tech organizations or startups.
4. Working knowledge of API integrations and system architecture basics.
5. Experience building on structure/process into delivery environments.
