Job Description

1. Tackle High-Impact Challenges: Identify, analyze, and resolve critical issues that have a significant impact on the company’s engineering operations or customer satisfaction.
2. RCA Investigations: Investigate incidents to identify root causes, implement preventive measures, and ensure long-term solutions are in place to avoid recurrence.
3. Lead Strategic Projects: Take ownership of high-priority projects, delivering innovative solutions within tight timelines and ensuring alignment with company goals.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering squads, QA, and product teams to understand challenges, share insights, and implement solutions effectively.
5. Mentor and Support Teams: Share expertise with other engineers, contributing to skill development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Drive Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge tools, technologies, or methodologies that enhance McEasy’s engineering capabilities.
7. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create detailed documentation of solutions, processes, and learnings to ensure knowledge is retained and shared across the organization.
8. Monitor and Optimize Performance: Continuously evaluate and optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of McEasy’s systems and solutions.

Qualifications

1. Experience: 8+ years of experience in software development or engineering roles, with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems.
2. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools used in McEasy’s tech stack (Go, Python, Javascript, Typescript, etc). Experience with system architecture, performance optimization, and debugging is essential.
3. Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure.
4. Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
5. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
6. Innovation Mindset: Passion for exploring new technologies, tools, and approaches to enhance engineering practices.
7. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
