Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with stakeholders and engineers to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in full stack development, particularly with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and MySQL. Experience with REST APIs is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work with fellow engineers to design and implement full stack applications using Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and MySQL.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs.
• Participate in Scrum Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure code quality and performance through code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and software quality.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role.
• At least 2-5 years of experience with full stack development using Next.js + TypeScript and Node.js + TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with MySQL and experience in database design and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of REST API development.
• Experience working in Scrum Agile software engineering teams.
• Bonus: Experience working with GraphQL, working with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies and applications, and/or working with Terraform.
