Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior SEM-PPC (Paid Search & Display Ads) Specialist to launch and optimize Search Engine Advertising & Display PPC campaigns, monitor budgets, oversee search platform accounts, track KPIs, and produce useful reports for management.
In this role, you should be well-versed in principles of search engine advertising (SEM) including Google Ads, FB/IG Ads, Youtube Ads, GDN, and other PPC channels. You should also be analytical and good with numbers. Your goal will be to ensure our online marketing efforts have the highest possible return on investment (ROI).
Responsibilities:
- Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads and other search engine and social media ads platforms.
- Plan, create, and manage PPC campaigns across a variety of channels.
- Maintain and monitor keyword bids, audience targeting, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score, and other important account metrics.
- Manage the creation of large keyword lists, also keyword research and management to optimize bids (add PPC keywords and negative keywords).
- Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates.
- Manage Display network placement lists on Google Ads and through other contextual advertising platforms.
- Perform daily account management of PPC campaigns (review expensive under-performing keywords and ensure PPC campaign does not exceed weekly and monthly ad spend budget, maintain Quality Score, impression share, and other important metrics).
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword and audience opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with company goals.
- Provide oversight and manage new paid search and social media ads, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid search marketing initiatives.
- Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
- Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with company goals.
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
- Communicate to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
- Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels.
Requirements:
- No less than 3 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC).
- Advanced experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (Google Ads, Bing AdCenter, LinkedIn Advertising, etc).
- Proficiency in managing moderate to large scale PPC accounts in a variety of different business verticals.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Preferably from E-Commerce Startup or B2B SaaS company.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, WebTrends etc).
- Functional experience with all channels of Social Media Advertising Platform.
- Google Ads / Bing certification a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent writing proficiency and content creation skills.
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Analytical thinking with strong math skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
