Job description

Our client is the leading international manufacturer and supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware, with customers in more than 150 countries.

About the role:

Reporting to the National Manager Sales Project, this position is responsible for presenting the company and promoting the assigned product ranges and sales channels in assigned territories. Create the necessary brand awareness with targeted customer groups. Present and consult our values and solutions by the product ranges to win deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling the company's products to achieve individual targets on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis based on personal KPIs.
  • Align with defined-channel customer groups to promote and create brand awareness for the company’s brands and assigned products in the assigned territories.
  • Cultivate, develop, and manage assigned-channel customers in assigned territories.
  • Constructively hand over full information of non-assigned customers to other sales reps and/or other sales channels.
  • Build strong relationships with all related parties. Understand customer demands as well as technical/commercial needs and present our respective products accordingly.
  • Study the competition for each specific customer and prepare win-win quotes for customized solutions in compliance with the direction of the Sales Supervisor.
  • Generate technical and commercial support where needed. Secure potential opportunities and negotiate contracts and/or sales orders.
  • Liaise with related departments (Supply Chain, Product Management, Specifier, Finance, Marketing, Sales Admin) to get support on all technical matters and optimize support for customers.
  • Regularly monitor, follow up, and report the progress of customer requirements to all stakeholders.
  • List and report on defining potential customers (including market info, progress, problems, solutions, and results) to the direct superior.
  • Be professional by wearing the company’s uniform and embodying the company's values.
  • Follow company regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. University graduation, majoring in engineering, management, business administration, or relevant fields is a plus.
  2. Work experience of at least 5 years in distribution or dealer sales.
  3. Solid experience in architectural hardware, furniture fitting, home appliances, sanitary, or related fields is a plus. Preferably from a building material company (Sanitary, Ceramic, Architecture Hardware).
  4. Good networks with decision-makers of carpenter contractors, furniture manufacturers, and interior material dealers.
  5. Customer-oriented.
  6. Smart working, outgoing, sales-driven, with a high sense of urgency.
  7. Conceptual understanding of interior design.
  8. Understanding of brands and brand positioning.
  9. Ability to work independently and under high pressure.
  10. Good presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  11. Good computer literacy (MS Office, CRM Software).
  12. Good command of English.
