Senior QA (Garment Industry)

PT Asian Collections Garments, a factory based in KBN Cakung exporting fashion Men and Ladies Garments, is looking for Senior QA for Sample Room:

Job Qualifications:

• Must have background in Garments Industry (Factory/Garment buying agent).
• Good knowledge of speaking and writing in English to communicate with Buyers QA team.
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; graduation from IGTC/Textile school will be an advantage.
• Understand adjustment pattern and sewing process.
• Min 5-10 years experience in technician role and QC/QA in inspection of Men’s and Ladies clothing for Europe and USA market with AQL levels of 2-4.5.
• Responsibilities to measure, review sample, and patterns against standard patterns.
• Manage the production from the development stage up to the production stage.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, creative problem solver, and able to handle pressure well.
• Strong technical support and good problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English and have a proper driving license.
• Placement in Jakarta area.

Job Purpose:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality garment samples, aligning with buyer specifications and industry standards, for seamless approval by international and domestic buyers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production closely and provide technical support when required to meet quality standards.
• Perform in-line inspection on the sewing floor for sample development to ensure quality standards and specifications as per buyer standards.
• Verify sample garments and tech packs.
• Maintain sampling fabric rack as per buyers' requirements.
• Sample review and release fabric for cut.
• Indent follow-up to amend changes required in the previous sample.
• Implement quality assurance procedures, guidelines, and checklists.
• Conduct inspections.
• Identify quality issues, analyze their root cause, and take necessary measures to improve the quality standards.
• Record inspection findings and quality issues.
• Analyze quality reports and prepare improvement plans.
• Coordinate with buyers and internal stakeholders.
