Job description

Responsibilities:

To oversee the organization’s support functions, including Finance, Office Admin, HR, Legal and Compliance, in collaboration with the heads of these departments. The role involves leading and managing the organization’s financial resources to maintain both short-term and long-term financial goals, and ensuring all functions align with the organization’s objectives and adhere to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, management reports, and regulatory filings.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes to ensure alignment with business objectives, including budget preparation.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance, including tax filings, GST, financial statements, CPF tax declarations, clearance, and company secretarial matters.
  • Direct daily office operations, including travel arrangements.
  • Supervise HR function, with a reporting line to the CHRO for governance, control, and strategy matters at Group level.
  • Manage Legal function, including preparing non-disclosure agreements, engagement letters, and service contracts for the CEO’s signature.
  • Serve as the appointed Compliance Officer, liaising with local regulators and institutions (such as MOF, MOM, IRAS, CPF, MAS, and ACRA). Coordinate risk and compliance requirements, reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance for governance, control, and strategy matters at the Group level.
  • Report to the CFO for governance, control, and strategy matters at Group level.

Requirements:

  • Degree Level (Finance desirable)
  • Certified Chartered Accountant
  • Over 10 years experience in financial management
  • Brings along experience in HR functions, particularly on payroll and performance appraisal
  • Good understanding of finance, office and corporate management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
