Senior Legal Associate

• Monthly Salary range: IDR 18,000,000-IDR 20,000,000/month (excluding pph 21 and BPJS);
• Annual leave after work for more than one consecutive year;
• THR;
• Annual bonus subject to annual work review and performance;
• Commercial insurance covering health after work for more than one consecutive year.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years relevant working experience in a local law firm;
• Advocate qualification;
• Excellent language skills in English (working language);
• Familiar with Indonesian laws and regulations on investment and factory establishment, including legal practice on manufacturing, industrial park (KMK) incentives and licensing requirements;
• Experience in construction laws and regulations, including BUJKA establishment, joint operation between BUJKA and local construction companies, drafting and reviewing construction service agreements under Indonesian laws;
• Familiar with establishment procedures and corporate matters for PMA and good communication with local authorities;
• Familiar with Indonesian laws and regulations on energy, including mining, oil and gas, and smelting industries, with experience in assisting clients in acquiring local energy projects via share purchase or asset purchase, issuing legal opinions on legal matters;
• Familiar with labor compliance, legal due diligence, and review and drafting of contracts under Indonesian laws;
• Experience in carrying out legal due diligence and proceeding transactions in merger and acquisition projects;
• Good connections or sources with local professionals including tax counsel, accountants, public auditors, PPAT, and public appraisers.

Job Description:

• Review and draft contracts, agreements, and any other documents related to company business activities and necessities;
• Review and provide legal advice on corporate documents required in connection with any relevant corporate action and compliance with prevailing law;
• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on target companies, proficient in collecting and analyzing legal documents required for due diligence purposes;
• Review and provide legal advice on company documents related to any relevant corporate actions, ensuring compliance with current laws. Provide detailed legal analysis and advice on specific legal issues or transactions based on client needs, and draft legal opinions in the fields of investment and manufacturing, energy and resources, construction services, and other practices as required by the client;
• Keep up-to-date with changes in regulatory legislation, compliance, guidelines, and provide regular reports on business opportunities and legislative documents affecting company business and/or policies;
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen liaison and work relationships with the company's legal team outside Indonesia and local government authorities to facilitate efficient communication.
