About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist professional to join our dynamic team at PT Simian Technologies. You will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and expertise, ensuring our IT systems and applications are functioning seamlessly. This full-time role is based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

• Be a reliable "IT doctor," diagnosing and resolving issues on laptops, servers, printers, and other devices.
• Become a "system architect," building and maintaining efficient virtualization environments using Proxmox, VMWare, and Virtual Box.
• Act as a "digital gatekeeper," securing the company network with Mikrotik firewalls and filtering.
• Be a "data hero," ensuring company data is safe with planned backup and restore strategies.
• Work with Windows and Linux operating systems like a true professional.

What we're looking for

• IT Experts: Proficient in setting up, troubleshooting, installing, configuring various hardware, software, operating systems, virtualization, networking, and IT security.
• Minimum 2 Years Experience: Possess at least 2 years of experience in IT Support or System Administrator roles.
• Exceptional Problem Solvers: Detail-oriented, meticulous, initiative-taking, patient, and possess outstanding problem-solving abilities.
• Responsible Team Players: Capable of working independently and in teams, responsible, and communicative.
• Physically and Mentally Healthy: Able to maintain personal health to remain productive.
• [Bonus Point]: Understanding of web programming is a significant advantage.
