Senior iOS Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Brain Above InfoSol Pvt. Ltd. is looking for expert iOS Engineers having 4+ years of experience in development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones, tablets, and computers. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and build applications for Apple devices on the iOS platform.
2. Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
3. Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
4. Provide accurate estimates for milestones on our product roadmap.
5. Follow coding best practices.
6. Follow agile/continuous integration engineering best practices.
7. Pass code reviews consistently with no rework and no issues in design.
8. Able to resolve complex bugs and complete complex projects with technical guidance.
9. Clearly communicate project status and technical concepts with others.

Skills Required

Requirements:

1. 4-7 years of experience in development and maintenance of iOS applications.
2. Good understanding of Object-oriented programming and iOS development design patterns.
3. Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Cocoa Touch.
4. Experience using XCode and the iOS SDK and knowledge of the iOS developer ecosystem.
5. Exposure to building and releasing iPhone/iPad Applications.
6. Experience working in an agile environment.
7. Knowledge of algorithms, memory management, MVC programming, and concurrent programming.
8. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
9. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, Web Services.
10. Good knowledge of release management.
11. Sound interpersonal and team working skills.
12. Strong customer service skills and communication skills.
13. Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.
14. Possess good communication, analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Pluses:

1. Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB, CassandraDB).
2. Knowledge of Cloud Services and APIs.
3. Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and Jenkins tools.
4. Experience with Xcode UI Tests.
