Job description

Our company was established since 50 years ago, with 2,000 employees and our business is in manufacturing, selling, marketing, distributing pharmaceutical, food, hair care, baby products and raw materials/chemical ingredient products. We have several branch offices in all big cities throughout Indonesia.

RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Manage recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, industrial relations and employee relations including disciplinary matters and grievances.
  3. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge and capabilities.
  5. Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals.
  6. Manage HR-related systems. Knowledge of Andal system would be an advantage.
  7. Oversee general office administration, including facilities management, vendor relations, and office supplies.
  8. Manage company assets and ensure their proper maintenance.
  9. Handle travel arrangements and other administrative tasks as needed.

Legal

  1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a range of matters, including employment law, contract law, commercial law, labor regulations and other relevant legal requirements.
  2. Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and policies.
  3. Good English in spoken and written would be an advantage.
  4. Manage legal disputes and litigation, as needed.
  5. Identify and mitigate legal risks for the organization.
  6. Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Graduated Bachelor/Master degree in Law.
  2. Minimum experience of 10 years as HRGA & Legal Manager in a pharmaceutical, retail or distribution company would be an advantage.
  3. Having work experience as an Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Legal or Operations would be an advantage.
  4. Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations and other relevant legal requirements.
  5. Strong leadership, good interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking and work ethic skills.
  6. Have broad knowledge and experience in company legal document permit and renewal.
  7. Have strong relationships, and can communicate well with government institutions.
  8. Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  9. Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
  10. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  11. High integrity, honest, loyal and can be trusted.
