Senior Data Engineer - Growth

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with data scientists to develop complex algorithms for unique data insights.
2. Utilize agile methodologies for iterative enhancements to back-end systems.
3. Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
4. Develop predictive models to address business needs.
5. Manage new and existing data sources, and integrate them with the data warehouse.
6. Create and maintain data quality frameworks, metrics, and definitions across the data team.
7. Adapt data integration solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
8. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data quality and operational issues.
9. Gather requirements and provide data integration solutions in collaboration with end users.
10. Model front-end and back-end data sources to enable data analysis and understand user flows.
11. Adhere to project deadlines and manage code migration and documentation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 4 years experience in Data Management and or as Data Engineer.
3. Programming experience in Python or Java.
4. Experience with big data technologies such as Airflow.
5. Solid understanding of SQL, database management systems, and data modeling concepts.
6. Experience with DBT is a plus.
7. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Google, AliCloud.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
