Who are we?

How did it all start?

Founded on March 15, 1991, in Surabaya as PT Anglomas International Bank (Amin Bank), the bank was acquired by Tolaram Group and transformed to PT Bank Amar Indonesia (Amar Bank) in 2014. It has then undergone a significant digital transformation to become one of the country's forerunning fintech institutions through its award-winning digital lending platform, Tunaiku.

About The Role:

As a part of the Data Analyst team, you will collaborate with our Stakeholders to solve problems by providing data & analytics solutions. You will play an essential role in the success of creating a data culture in the company by ensuring our Stakeholders can produce data-based decisions. If you are detail-oriented and love to work with millions of data, this role can give you the chance to fully develop not only in technical aspects but also in business & product acumen.

What Will You Do:

• Provide analysis to measure impact of new features, business flows, campaigns, and present the results in a visual way to make data storytelling easier.
• Create and manage automated reports/dashboards based on requirements defined by Stakeholders to ensure they consume correct and latest data.
• Create and manage Data Mart to make work easier & faster.
• Ensure correctness of data by collaborating with Data Engineers to maintain data quality.
• Become a strategic partner with Stakeholders from various backgrounds by advising on new metrics, data sources, visualizations, and other analytical methods for better data-based decisions.
• Tailor complex messages into simplified and business-applicable materials.
• Be aware that, besides high accuracy, speed of task delivery is equally important.
• Stay up-to-date with data and analytics trends.

What You Need To Have:

• At least 3 years of experience related to data analysis.
• Ability to create user-friendly and insightful dashboards/reports using various BI Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.).
• Experience operating various types of data sources (e.g., NoSQL, RDBMS, JSON, etc.) for analysis & report/dashboard implementation.
• Experience providing analysis (Descriptive/Diagnostic/Predictive/Prescriptive) with the help of analytics tools (e.g., Big Query, Python, R, SPSS, etc.).
• Knowledge of Data Mining concepts (e.g., Statistics, Machine Learning, Forecasting, etc.).
• Experience processing Core Banking data and understanding the end-to-end flow process of Digital Lending.
• Ability to explain own projects using great storytelling skills.
• Holistic approach to cross-functional thinking.
• Comfortable working with millions of rows of data.
• Ability to think outside the box to propose and implement alternative solutions when needed.
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate within/across functions.
• Self-driven, curious, problem-solving mindset, and very detail-oriented.

Plus Point If You Have:

• Experience using Google Big Query & Looker.
• Experience exploring data from third-party platforms (e.g., Web & Mobile Analytics Platforms, Marketing Attribution Platforms, API logging platforms, etc.).
• Best practices for building Data Mart.
