Senior Civil Engineer – Hospitality Group (Canggu)

Are you a highly-driven individual with extensive experience in Civil Engineering? One of Bali’s leading hospitality groups is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to bring their energy and enthusiasm to create unforgettable service and party experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects within our Bali properties. This role focuses on ensuring structural integrity, sustainability, and compliance with local and international standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical expertise and leadership capabilities to elevate facilities while upholding its purpose and values.

Requirements :

• Open for local candidates.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, a Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related specialisation is highly regarded.
• Have 10–15 years of civil engineering experience, with significant focus on high-complexity projects. International exposure, particularly in Southeast Asia or Europe, is advantageous.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred. Additional certifications in construction management or water resources engineering are a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams and inspire excellence in project execution.
• Exceptional English proficiency for effective interaction at the SMT level and with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to address technical challenges and make data-driven decisions.
• Flexibility to handle dynamic project requirements and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Demonstrates alignment with company brand identity and core values.
• Proven track record in designing safe, efficient, and visually appealing pools, water slides, and sports facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of eco-friendly construction techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber structures, tailored to recreational facilities.
• Expertise in designing and analysing water supply, filtration, and drainage systems for pools and landscapes.
• Skilled in soil assessment, site investigations, and foundation design, especially considering Bali’s tropical climate and seismic activity.
• Experience managing large-scale projects, with a focus on compliance with Indonesian building codes.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and relevant civil engineering tools; BIM expertise is highly desirable.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and execution of structural, hydraulic, geotechnical, and construction management initiatives, with emphasis on swimming pools, water slides, and other recreational facilities.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, quality control, and contractor management to ensure successful project completion.
• Integrate eco-friendly practices and materials to support company commitment to sustainability.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety in design and construction, aligning with company safety commitments.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Facilities, Operations, and external contractors, to align engineering efforts with organisational goals.
• Serve as a key liaison between clients, architects, contractors, and senior management. Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
