About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled, experienced, and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Jakarta team, supporting Micromine’s continuous growth across the APAC region. This role will be instrumental in promoting our leading-edge Origin & Beyond software solutions.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you’ll use your expertise in business development and technical pre-sales to drive customer engagement and sales in Indonesia and surrounding markets. A background in geology or mine engineering would be highly advantageous.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Identifying new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and driving sales growth for our Origin & Beyond products

  • Cultivating and maintaining effective relationships with current clients
  • Preparing presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Managing the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation and closing
  • Collaborating with Sales Operations, Technical and Finance to ensure smooth product delivery and client training
  • Coordinating with internal teams, including management, product development, and operations, to meet proposal deadlines

About You

Our ideal candidate has over 7 years of business development or technical pre-sales experience in the mining industry, with a strong "hunter" mentality and exceptional sales skills. A background in geology or mine engineering is highly desirable, as is a structured and methodical approach to client engagement.

Key skills, experience, and qualifications:

Proven success in business development or technical pre-sales, ideally with mining software solutions or mining consulting

  • Extensive experience and an established network within the mining industry
  • Comfortable with regular travel to client sites in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia
  • Strong communication, client relationship management, and negotiation skills
  • A motivated, results-oriented approach to sales and business growth
