About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis efforts across multiple software projects, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into functional and technical requirements. You will work closely with key stakeholders, developers, and project teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and improve business processes.

Job Description

1. Lead business analysis efforts across multiple projects in the software development lifecycle.
2. Define and manage functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
3. Conduct requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, focus groups, and brainstorming sessions.
4. Create and maintain user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
5. Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful software delivery.
6. Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure stakeholder alignment.
7. Act as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring solutions align with business goals.
8. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for product and process improvements.
9. Contribute to company-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT consulting company.
3. Driven, detail-oriented, highly responsible, and an excellent communicator—able to analyze complex business problems, provide scalable solutions, and facilitate discussions with both technical and non-technical teams.
4. Professional certifications are a plus, such as: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – IIBA, PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
5. Proven experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall environments.
6. Strong expertise in business process modeling (BPMN, UML) and workflow analysis.
7. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, SQL, Power BI, Tableau.
8. Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), system integrations, APIs, cloud-based solutions, and database structures.
9. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to align software solutions with business objectives.
10. Experience in gap analysis, impact assessment, feasibility studies, and business case development.
11. Ability to facilitate discussions, manage stakeholders, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
12. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to engage C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
13. Experience mentoring junior Business Analysts and defining best practices for business analysis.
