Ensuring accuracy in General Ledger records align with accounting principles and applicable standard recording.
Manage GL account transactions including journal entry, account provision, reconciliation, review, schedule, amortization, and FEBA.
Entering data to SAP and ensuring it is updated on a daily basis.
Registering, maintaining, and updating company asset records in the SAP system, calculating depreciation, and proposing write-off/discard/scrap when necessary.
Handling company tax responsibilities such as withholding tax (PPh 15, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25, PPh 26, PPh 21), VAT-in and VAT-out.
Tax reconciliation, liaising related taxes to ensure accuracy and compliance in company tax reporting and filing.
Managing and carrying out financial reports, ensuring quality data, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies, and financial management reports to ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.
Recording, monitoring, and following up on accounts receivable and overdue from external parties or business partners.
Verifying account payable records and postings.
Managing financial activities such as verifying payments, collections, reconciliations, records (including employee expenses), as per payment terms, to align with the budget and supporting documents with high accuracy and timeliness, in compliance.
Involved in preparing budgets based on projected revenues and expenses for a department or company.
Providing data and documents for audit purposes and processes, supporting audit requests, internal and external, and assisting with compliance.
Developing and monitoring SOPs specifically related to accounting, finance, and expenses, and their implementation.
Ensuring proper document filing, administration, and filing of all financial and accounting records.
Assisting with legal and compliance matters.
Education / Professional Certification
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax. Master’s degree is preferred.
A Certified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Brevet is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in corporate accounting/financial function or in a public accounting firm.
Familiarity with SAP, Tax, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger.
Strong experience with Budgeting, Reporting, and data analysis.
Experience involved in projects is an advantage.
Understanding of tax regulations.
