Job description

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing client accounts, ensuring exceptional satisfaction, and driving sustainable growth through strategic account management.

This role focuses on fostering a high-performance culture by developing and executing targeted retention strategies aligned with group objectives, with the aim of achieving revenue targets, accelerating market growth, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Your Responsibilities

  • Actively manage account portfolio and proactively identify new sales (upsell) opportunities.
  • Achieve key performance indicator and renewal sales targets, as well as upselling and KPIs.
  • Manage and maintain profitable business relationships with all existing clients and maintain high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Complete outbound customer care calls to all members as populated in CRM.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of BCI CRM and Lead Manager system.
  • Immediate reporting of important issues (service, operational, process) to direct senior level and propose solutions where possible.

Qualifications & Experience for Senior Account Manager

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Account Management (E)
    Proven track record in growing client accounts and mentoring a team to achieve results.
  • Advanced Leadership Skills (E)
    Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage complex client relationships, and drive business success.
  • Advanced Client Management & Customer Service Skills (E)
    Expertise in managing client relationships and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Degree or Diploma Holder (E)
    A relevant qualification in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral) (E)
    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Proficiency in English (Written & Oral) (E)
    Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • PC Knowledge (E)
    Competent in using Internet search engines, databases, Outlook, and MS/Open Office tools.
  • Advanced Interpersonal Skills (E)
    Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in SAAS Subscription Models (D)
    Understanding of subscription-based business models, pricing, and client retention strategies.
  • Knowledge of CRM Tools (D)
    Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Technical Understanding of SAAS Products (D)
    Ability to understand and explain the technical features of SAAS products to clients.
  • Experience in Mentoring & Coaching (D)
    Prior experience in mentoring junior team members or leading training sessions to develop their skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills (D)
    Ability to identify issues quickly and propose effective solutions to both clients and internal teams.
