Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to help Grab build strategic relationships with high-profile merchants and increase revenue. We believe a successful candidate has good management skills, but if you believe you have what it takes then we'd love to hear from you either way. In return, you will be part of the team to drive growth for Grab. You will be reporting to the manager. The role will be onsite and is a 1-year contract.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Improve business growth by designing and implementing strategies, developing tailored communications, to build merchant trust, communication, and service needed to serve.
- Relationship building: Engage, retain, and grow our most important merchants by listening to their needs, feedback, and maintaining close communication.
- Ensure the delivery of end-to-end processes, from planning to execution.
- Drive growth and achieve higher ROI.
- Take a data-driven approach to estimate ROI and KPI analysis for each partner to grow basket size and create loyal customers.
- Ensure consistency and quality: Ensure partners maintain service and food quality consistency by liaising with operations, customer service, and partners to resolve issues via email, phone, or in person.
- Cross-functional relationships: Work with our product, operations, and merchant acquisition teams to ensure merchants have the best possible experience.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in management, business, public administration, or engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or operations.
- Knowledgeable in business process management, identifying risks, and executing successful initiatives.
- Interest in carrying out off-ground activities, including external stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Passion for the on-demand delivery space, particularly food delivery, with a thoughtful understanding of industry trends, products, and competitive landscape.
- Comfortable working with a laptop and various sales tools/applications.
