Scrum Master

Job Description

Responsibility:

1. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Reviews).
2. Guide and coach the team and organization on Agile/Scrum practices.
3. Help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics and continuous delivery.
4. Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.
5. Shield the team from external interference and distractions.
6. Track and report Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down/burn-up charts).
7. Promote a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
8. Coordinate with other Scrum Masters, Release Managers, and teams to ensure alignment and dependency resolution.
9. Support Agile transformation and change management initiatives across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
3. Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Agile methodologies (Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
4. Proven ability to facilitate Scrum events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
5. Knowledge of Agile project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Azure DevOps, etc.).
