Sales Officer

The Sales Officer will provide a key support role in the growth and profitability of PT. Unilever Oleochemical to drive sales with key customers both internally (Unilever SU) and externally (B2B). The candidate will help support the business development relationship for a wide portfolio of products which include fatty acids and glycerin soap noodles.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
2. Track sales activity from PO until payment is received.
3. Provide customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, such as planning and logistics, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related field.
2. A strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management is preferred.
3. Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues both verbally and in writing.
4. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
5. Proficiency in communication skills, especially in English (mandatory for dealing with customers).
6. Familiarity with operating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
7. Great interpersonal skills.

PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia (UOI) was established on January 3rd, 2012, and is wholly owned by Unilever Netherland. UOI is one of the biggest Oleochemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers use domestic products. The plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.
