Sales Manager, Packaging Equipment

Our client is a well-established international company that delivers innovative solutions for the packaging industry. Known for its technical expertise and customer-centric approach, the company is growing its presence in Southeast Asia and is looking for a driven Sales Manager to join their team in Indonesia.

This role plays a pivotal part in developing commercial strategies, expanding market reach, and building long-term client relationships in the territory. The position reports directly to the Regional Director for Southeast Asia and involves collaboration across both local and regional functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies to grow the business in Indonesia.
2. Prepare sales forecasts and manage the budget for packaging equipment.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including multinational and local companies.
4. Collaborate with the regional team to lead marketing and promotional initiatives in the territory.
5. Identify market needs and opportunities for new products, services, or improvements.
6. Support the full sales process from initial contact to order fulfillment and after-sales follow-up.
7. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of experience in the packaging industry.
3. Good understanding of B2B sales and technical products.
4. Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
5. Able to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
