Our client is a leading company in the logistics sector and is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to spearhead their customer acquisition efforts and drive business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution of New Customer Acquisition
Develop hunting sales strategies to achieve new client acquisition targets.
Execute prospecting approaches, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking to identify potential customers.
Identify new business opportunities in the logistics sector, including transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and supply chain services.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation campaigns.
Sales Negotiation Management
Manage sales processes and ensure effective follow-up with prospects.
Conduct sales presentations, service demonstrations, and contract negotiations with potential clients.
Prepare business proposals and competitive pricing strategies.
Implement value-based selling strategies that highlight the company's service advantages over competitors.
Monitoring Targets & Team Performance
Set sales acquisition targets and ensure they are met according to company KPIs.
Assist and mentor the Sales Hunter team in achieving individual and team targets.
Report on sales progress, competitor analysis, and market trends to the Director.
Client Relations & Business Development
Build strong relationships with prospects and new clients to ensure their satisfaction post-onboarding.
Collaborate with operational and customer service teams to ensure services meet new client expectations.
Analyze potential business expansion into new segments or areas based on sales data and market feedback.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
Possess a hunter mindset (proactively seeking new opportunities).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Target-oriented with leadership qualities for team management.
Understanding of pricing aspects, service level agreements (SLA), and business contract negotiation within the logistics industry.
