Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer care and service business of Company's diesel engines for marine industry.
  • Perform business development and sales activities of spare parts and services of Company's engines for marine industry.
  • Support the growth strategies for business region (budget quotations, order intake, revenue/casing, customer visits) and create new business opportunities.
  • Win new customers with a systematic approach.
  • Build customer relationships from prospecting to closing.
  • Tendering activities, collect & communicate market intelligence / competitors' activities and project opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up, order confirmation, coordinate work & invoicing.
  • Prepare yearly sales budget to achieve its objectives.
  • Regional coordination between customers/agents and headquarters.

Job Qualification

  • Minimum degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineer.
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years similar experience in the marine business.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Working location based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau and Medan, North Sumatera.
  • Residence in Batam or Medan is preferred.
  • Willing to be relocated.
