About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join Sales & Marketing in Jumeirah Bali. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and acquire new group business through targeted prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies to position Jumeirah Bali as the top choice for high-end group events, leveraging the property's unique offerings.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies to attract government and embassy delegations.
  • Organize and lead impactful site inspections, presentations, and FAM trips to highlight the resort's features and suitability for group needs.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key government agencies, embassies, corporate clients, and trade partners ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with the Revenue and Marketing Teams to design packages and offers that appeal to the targeted segments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Events to ensure seamless planning and execution of group bookings, meeting client expectations.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to adjust strategies, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • Provide exceptional client service by understanding and addressing specific group requirements, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
  • Represent Jumeirah Bali at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums to enhance visibility and generate leads.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and forecasts, analyzing data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a strong preference for candidates with MICE/Corporate experiences.
  • Proven track record in a sales role within the luxury hospitality sector, showcasing your ability to drive revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with PMS, ensuring efficient and effective management of reservations and customer interactions.
  • Strong understanding of the Bali market, including its cultural dynamics, government protocols, and client preferences.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, allowing you to effectively engage with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on opportunities, ensuring the continuous growth and success of the business.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages, especially Bahasa Indonesia, are an advantage.
