Client Overview: Our client is a leading importer and distributor of premium food products across Indonesia. Their mission is to provide top-quality food solutions to various segments, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, catering services, and general trade.

Position Overview: Our client is looking for a highly experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and drive growth across the Indonesian market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) and a proven track record in managing sales teams and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and growth objectives. Provide comprehensive training, guidance, and support to team members.
  2. Market Knowledge: Utilize extensive knowledge of the food market (FMCG) to drive sales strategies and ensure market penetration and customer satisfaction across Indonesia, particularly in the Jabodetabek area.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and build strong relationships with key customers and distributors. Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer databases.
  4. Performance Tracking: Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adapt strategies. Demonstrate the ability to meet ambitious targets under pressure.
  5. Presentation and Communication: Deliver compelling presentations and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  6. Innovation and Adaptability: Show high initiative and innovation in developing new strategies and adapting to market changes.
  7. Administrative Skills: Use MS Word and Excel proficiently for reporting and data management. Possess a valid driving license (SIM A & SIM C) and have access to a personal vehicle.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience as a National Sales Manager in the FMCG industry or related sectors, with a focus on B2B sales and target markets such as hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, catering services, and general trade.
  3. Proven track record of managing customer relationships effectively with accurate database management.
  4. Strong knowledge of the food industry (FMCG) and the ability to meet deadlines while achieving ambitious targets under pressure.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
  6. Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
