Job description

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for one of our client's startup companies in Jakarta!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  2. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities and refine approaches.
  3. Manage and engage with a diverse client base (B2B and B2C) across online and offline platforms.
  4. Monitor the performance of sales channels and collaborate with relevant teams to improve or discontinue underperforming ones.
  5. Set and communicate sales targets for the team and individual representatives.
  6. Track sales achievements, identify gaps, and adjust strategies as needed.
  7. Create accurate sales forecasts to predict future revenue and growth.
  8. Report on sales performance weekly and monthly, identifying challenges and opportunities.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects to drive sales.
  10. Lead contract negotiations and close deals with major clients or partners.
  11. Work closely with marketing and product development to align strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
  12. Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage logistics tailored to each sales channel.
  13. Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to influence product and marketing strategies.
  14. Manage the sales department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  15. Optimize the sales process by leveraging the best tools and techniques.
  16. Monitor competitors and adjust strategies to stay ahead of market trends.
  17. Lead, motivate, train, and develop the sales team, fostering expertise in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.

Requirements:

  1. Proven leadership and people management skills.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in both Bahasa and English.
  3. At least 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a similar role.
  4. Experience in omni-channel sales (B2B and B2C), preferably within the pet or related industries.
  5. Strong knowledge of sales strategies, CRM systems, and data analysis.
  6. Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate changing market conditions.
  7. Entrepreneurial mindset with analytical capabilities and a hands-on approach.
  8. Creative thinker with a high sense of ownership.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially PowerPoint, and strong public speaking skills.
  10. Ownership of a personal vehicle for client meetings is preferred.
  11. Must be a pet lover!
