Sales Engineer

Sales Responsibilities

1. Preparation of weekly sales working schedule for the presentation to the Sales Manager.
2. Updated daily sales activities and area development (new customers, calls, visits, opportunities).
3. Perform the duties of Inside Sales person as required.
4. Analyzing cost and sales.
5. Expedite major projects in the allocated areas through to satisfactory completion.
6. Maintain an understanding of developments in the marketplace concerning major projects, competitor activities, new products, and any other factors affecting Van Leeuwen Distribution Indonesia's sales activities.
7. Assist customers in the selection of material and/or products and refer inquiries to Sales Manager if necessary.
8. Persuade customers that products or services will satisfy their needs.
9. Negotiate and close the order.
10. Monitor competitor activities in the field and report on every quotation regularly.
11. Report all customer complaints.
12. Define customer problems, needs, and give recommendations to meet specific requirements.
13. Assist the Sales Manager in preparing the annual budget.
14. Achieve the budget for the operating year as established in consultation with the Sales Manager.
15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are implemented and communicated within the team.
