Robotics Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Independently design and implement complex systems including system architectural design, relevant design documentation, test planning and execution using in-house rapid prototyping capabilities.
2. Generate, process, and analyze data.
3. Creatively solve design challenges, identify problems, and troubleshoot automation and robotic systems.
4. Conduct failure mode root cause analysis and risk analysis activities to support investigations.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally on the innovation, technology development, and creation of robotic systems, from feasibility prototype through product commercialization.
6. Develop test methods, design fixturing, and create technical documentation to support verification and validation activities.
7. Generate appropriate test protocols/test cases to properly test the product and the corresponding test reports.
8. Install, program, or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, etc.

Requirements

1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree with a heavy focus on mechanical/mechatronics or a vocational high school with equivalent experiences.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in mechatronics and/or automation engineering.
3. Experience in building fully automated machines is a must.
4. Good knowledge of CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
5. Good knowledge of CNC machines.
6. Expertise in mechanical engineering, especially in high precision robotics.
7. Experience in using microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Wireless control, etc.) and their components including motors, sensors, control systems, etc.
8. Experience in using Software & Algorithms (Python, C++, C#).
9. Accurate, attention to detail, tactful, and a fast learner is a must.
10. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
11. Superb creativity, logic, vision, and problem-solving skills.
12. Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
13. Willing to work in Salatiga or Semarang according to project needs.
