We are seeking a driven Research Analyst who excels at managing comprehensive data collection projects, ensuring data quality, and performing data coding, sorting, and analysis using the latest IT software such as MaxQDA, as well as classic tools. Accountability

The Research Analyst will be responsible to the Principal and Director or the person that will be designated by him.

Objective

You will be responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative research, analyzing data, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning. This role requires strong expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Understand research objectives and the context in which the data collection is taking place.
  2. Work with research directors, Team Leaders, research specialists, technical consultants, and/or industry experts to refine research objectives and recommend the most appropriate tools for this.
  3. Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research in line with client and corporate requirements.
  4. Collect, cleanse, code, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data collected by you or other team members through interviews, focus groups, and other methods using quantitative and qualitative tools.
  5. Triangulate information for accuracy.
  6. Support the refinement of data collection and analysis standard operating procedures.
  7. Draft detailed research reports, present results, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  8. Propose recommendations based on data.
  9. Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and validate findings through collaborative discussions.
  10. Stay updated on qualitative research methodologies and contribute to process improvements.
  11. Contribute to proposals for establishing research methodology and approach and assist in budget estimation.

Importance must be attached to projecting Asper Consulting Ltd. as a professional company of integrity delivering quality services. In the performance of this job, it is essential that the Holder conducts herself or himself in a way that optimizes cooperation of all staff, consultants, and contractors in the achievement of Corporate Objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in qualitative research and data analysis, preferably in agri-foods or related sector.
  • Proficiency in qualitative analysis software (e.g., NVivo, ATLAS.ti, MAXQDA).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for crafting reports and presentations.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Bahasa and English language.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods is a plus but not mandatory.
