About the Role

We are seeking a Research Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales for the organisation. Your day-to-day includes finding new business opportunities, generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in the research industry with a strong network of potential clients. This person should also be a strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach, strong networking skills, and a deep understanding of the research and consulting industries.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and execute on sales targets for the organisation.
  2. Identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential clients in the research, consulting, and strategy fields.
  3. Understand client needs and present Ravenry’s market research solutions effectively.
  4. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
  5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations.
  6. Develop relevant sales collaterals (e.g., info documents, case studies, and service overviews) to support client engagement.
  7. Work closely with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client objectives.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
  9. Maintain and expand a strong professional network of clients and partners.
  10. Track and manage sales activities and documentation.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of consultative sales experience, preferably in B2B sales - especially for banking, technology, or government-linked organisations.
  3. Experience managing a sales target of at least USD 300,000 per annum.
  4. At least 2 years of experience in the research or consulting industries.
  5. Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  6. Strong existing network of clients and prospects in research, consulting, and strategy fields.
  7. Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  9. Professional English speaking and writing abilities are a must.
