R&D Product Quality Supervisor

Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

During the new product/model development phase (pre-production - initial production):

• Ensure thorough verification of the product being developed.
• Provide a list of anomalies and first analysis to the regional R&D head / project team leader (after coordinating with manufacturing) to address and resolve the issues effectively.
• Establish and update the Vehicle Inspection Rules for products to be produced, and share them with the manufacturing and relevant departments.

During mass production phase:

• Establish product audit plan.
• Investigate and establish the most effective and efficient static checks and dynamic tests (and other necessary actions).
• Ensure product compliance with Piaggio's quality standards.

• Give manufacturing feedback on any quality issues, assist them in resolving the problems, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing process quality teams to analyze, diagnose, investigate, and manage product settlement when unusual deviations/non-conformities are observed during production or product inspection.
• Promote ongoing enhancements and improvements in operating aspects of the QC team, product quality, production processes, and across relevant functions and departments.
• Provide feedback to the APAC regional QC headquarters when new regulations may affect Piaggio products, enabling the Piaggio group to take necessary actions accordingly.
• Ensure that QC operating procedures are always relevant, being reviewed, and updated regularly.
• Investigate relevant information, compile and establish various QC reports, and maintain them for superiors and relevant departments.
• Coordinate the establishment and implementation of the company's quality management system based on the latest version of ISO 9001 and implement the provisions of HSE standards and regulations that have been determined by the company within the QC department.
• Other ad hoc assignments given by superior, management of the company, and regional QC headquarters.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Control or Product Quality (preferably from the Automotive Manufacturing industry or similar).
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents.
• Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Proficient in English communication (speaking, writing, and creating reports).
• Advanced skills in MS-Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of HSE Standards.
• Strong presentation and reporting abilities.
• Proactive with a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Capable of maintaining focus under pressure.
