Quality Manager

About the role

PT L&E International Indonesia is seeking a talented and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Semarang, Central Java. This full-time position is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and excellence across our manufacturing operations. As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of quality professionals.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing, implementing and maintaining quality management systems and procedures to meet or exceed industry standards and customer requirements
2. Establishing and monitoring key quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and driving corrective and preventive actions
3. Conducting regular audits, inspections and testing to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory and company policies
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement process improvements, and optimise production efficiency
5. Leading, training and mentoring a team of quality assurance professionals to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence
6. Analysing quality data, generating reports and presenting findings to management to support data-driven decision making
7. Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant quality, safety and environmental regulations, standards and best practices

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies and tools
3. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
5. Proficient in quality data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret findings and drive process improvements
6. Effective leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of quality professionals
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
8. Familiarity with relevant quality, safety and environmental regulations and standards
